Assists Button Manager¶
This page outlines the Button Manager menu, accessible via /assists settings → Manage Buttons.
This menu allows admins to create and manage the custom assist request buttons displayed on assist alert embeds.
Add Button¶
The Add button creates a new custom assist button. You will be prompted to configure:
- Label - the text displayed on the button
- Item Requirement - an optional Torn item that must be in the requester's inventory
- Description - a short description of the button's purpose
- Ping Role - the Discord role alerted when this button is used
- Order - the display order of the button relative to others
Restrictions
This action requires the MANAGE_ASSISTS_SETTINGS permission.
Select Button¶
The Select button opens a dropdown to choose an existing assist button to act on with the Edit or Delete buttons.
Restrictions
This action requires the MANAGE_ASSISTS_SETTINGS permission.
Edit Button¶
The Edit button opens an editor for the currently selected button, allowing you to update its label, item requirement, description, ping role, or display order.
Restrictions
This action requires the MANAGE_ASSISTS_SETTINGS permission.
Delete Button¶
The Delete button removes the currently selected assist button permanently.
Warning
Deleted assist buttons cannot be restored.

Go Back Button¶
The Go Back button returns to the previous settings screen.
